The floor of a private apartment was removed and precisely reconstructed in the exhibition. The blueprint of a home and a gallery overlapping. This merger created a sculptural space that has the imprints of micro-histories.
The visitor walks over the floor, reimagining the home from the traces left behind. Stains of a flood in the kitchen, a discoloration where the oven use to stand. The floor becomes a very slowly formed photogram of the lives of its inhabitants. This picture framed by the architecture of the gallery.
